  4. i used a plastic did tub and drilled holes and put plastic golf tees and sanded the tips round. It works great!I have had it for a couple years. People here in utah look at me weird but i dont care lol
  5. tiger musky season out here is about to turn on. I wouldnt mind testing one out too lol
  6. thats a good looking fly. I need to get out and fish for some carp but damn work gets in the way. One of my favorite fish on a fly!!
  7. ep fibers are good. i use a lot of bucktail and craft fur. i like ice wing fiber for flash. use some of the new uv materials too. colors i would use would be natural like bluegill colors and chart and white.
  8. i tied some streamers up using them too. Tried them in a swim tank and i was not impressed. Wonder if they are better in the water striping them than in a swim tank.
  9. Does anyone know of a good place to get big hooks? I am looking for wide gap and heavy wire. Hooks for muskies and things like that.
  10. craft fur, laser dub, ice wing fiber, large 3d eyes, icelandic sheep. i use a lot of these in my patterns
  11. I use the gamakatsu B10s which only goes up to 2/0. But gama does make a superline worm hook that has almost the same bend and goes up to 6/0. I like them both!!
  12. I am going to be out there in late April to visit my family. Anyone know what patterns will be good then for inshore salt species like reds, trout things like that. Thanks!!

  16. Thanks for the kind words. Might be a while before I can get to fish them, we still have about 20 inches of ice on our tiger musky lakes.
  17. thanks! not sure havent fished them yet. Only thing i am worried about is the ostrich.
  18. Just a couple tiger musky patterns I tied. Articulated too.
