cphubert 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2023 Clouser's for the surf hook- Mustad 3407DT, thread- white nylon, dumbbell eyes tied on top (fly will ride hook point up), body- body braid color of your choice, wing- bucktail colors of your choice, flash is optional. notes my most productive colors have been white/red, white/chartreuse, and purple/black I use a sharpie to color match top of head to bucktail please advise me of any color choices that you find productive. I used scrap deer hair and a bit of yarn left over from tying up a bunch of serendipities, and a stray, misplaced hook.
