Rib: Alternate bars of flat gold and silver tinsel (wound reverse), Dark Charcoal silk button hole twist thread (wound reverse along edge of silver tinsel over the hackle to lock it in)

Hackle: Black Rooster Coque (wound normal over the gold and silver tinsel)

Shoulder Hackle: Guinea fowl

Yeah, Iā€™ve been on a deer hair kick for a while, I just did a handful of Spookā€™s , otherwise Iā€™d grab the challengeĀ

That Dahlberg variation is just outstanding... I'd have my anglers using something similar (fire tiger colors) in both the fresh and salty portion of the Everglades fairly often.Ā  Ā
