  1. I'd have loved an opportunity like that. I struggle with that "X" wrap too. Also with his technique for turning a collar hackle into spinner wings. You just have to be so delicate. And now George, you just gave me a new "project" to work on.
  2. Thanks chug, it has to be my new Tiemco double leg midge sized bobbin.
  3. Thank you. Wasn't really going for a true Gordon, but I've been working with stripped peacock herl recently.
  4. Working on that Catskill style goodness. Size 18s.
  5. Another beauty tie George.
  6. That sure can. So far my .270 shooting 150 gr. Nosler partitions have done the job for me. I'm thinking about a .300 PRC or going back to an '06
  7. Very cool. I was wondering because wolverine is surely not a common material.

    Sad news indeed

Just saw this. What a sad day for sure.
  9. Nice bugs DFoster. Wolverine you say?
  10. My pleasure. https://charliesflybox.com/products/bleached-dyed-peacock-eyes?variant=40538697203850
  11. Poopdeck, that is a beauty. I usually buy the dyed peacock herls on the stem and use my thumb nail to strip 'em.
  12. Aquel does it for me, except for CDC. Loon Locsha does the CDC thing. I was lucky and picked up a 4oz. guide size at my local shop for 15 bucks.
  13. Had to add, I was glad I picked up the CDC loop wing emerger challenge. I tied a few of 'em and they proved to be absolutely killer on Sunday.
