xterrabill 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2018 6 crappies, 11 sunfish, 1 bass caught and released today! all from shore, lovin my new fly rod. bass are leaving beds and are hungry, seen 3 take spinner baits, time to start chuckin the bigger streamers here. crappies were close to shore in 3ft water. I found out that a spot close by gets some big muskies and pike. there is a pool below a dam that they (DNR) shock the fish and brings them back to the lake above the dam, they took out 26 muskies last year and we had Much more rain this spring than last. soon as the water level drops (before they shock it) I am going to give it a try. the fella I spoke to was there helping, he said there was also some nice walleye.
