I have actually seen that fly tied with otter.  It was tied by one of my dads friends probably in the 40's.

Thanks Mike! I love Hendricksons! Bit of a hit/miss hatch but it’s the first opportunity for a great hatch in my neck of the woods.

That's a great looking pattern- I was recently given several packs of 1990's(?) rubber legs from a friend who never quite develop as a tier.  I think I'll tie a couple in that style.  They might be "trout getters" around here in the summer!
