Not sure about the black wing, although it does provide a bit of contrast for easier spotting.

hook - WFC Model 3 #10
thread - Uni 8/0 black
tail - badger hackle
rib - xsmall wire silver 
abdomen- medium tinsel silver
body hackle - badger
wing - pronghorn hair dyed black (1 Tbs Rit Dark Brown/1 cup water, overdyed with 1Tbs Rit Black/1 cup water)
thorax - Ice Dub UV black
front hackle - badger

Back: Micro Pulsator Strip, Chart./white

Body: Cactus chenille, medium, pearl white

Eye: 3D molded, 1/4", red

Cement: Bone Dry UV resin

Scott,   Your latest batch of Lough Style are beautiful (as are all of your ties).  How do you fish them?  The hackle is wet fly/soft, but do they float with the hair wings?

Bob,

Thanks. I’ll fish them as dries. My traditional Stimulators never really dance on their hackles like they show in the movies;  these just float a little lower and take about the same amount of Gink.

wing - deer hair dyed black (1 Tbs Rit Dark Brown/1 cup water, overdyed with 1Tbs Rit Black/1 cup water)
thorax - Ice Dub UV black
front hackle - grizzly dyed orange (1Tbs Rit Sunshine Orange/1 cup water)

Wing: dyed yellow and natural squirrel tail
