  1. Thanks Mike. I'll check them out. We're buying a house just South of Belgrade and moving up mid June. It'll be nice to fish in sub 100 degree weather and if winter gets too rough for us we know the way to Tucson.
  2. Thanks but I have the boat. Blue Sky Boat Works Angler 360. Just curious about places to fish with it.
  3. We're moving there in June. I've visited many times but never had a boat. I'm thinking Hyalite will be a good place fish from a boat. Anyone know any other places to fish from a boat? Thanks, James
  4. Anyone tried it? Came across a coat but my tying gear is stored for a move.
  5. A wine cork is a terrible thing to waste.
  6. I've used Gink for over 50 years and it works well for me. My guide in Montana uses Flyagra.
  7. I'm in Austin and never thought to fish there. May have to take a little drive.
  8. Foam hopper over a bead head San Juan worm.
  9. 1965. Wide World of Sports. Curt Gowdy fishing the Snake from a drift boat. I was 10 years old.
  10. Blue Sky Boatworks Angler 360. Pedal powered. Tows and stows easier than a Lowes 16. Plenty of room on the front or rear deck for another chair and a dog. I removed the rear deck to add a trolling motor. Dry weight is 170lbs.
  11. I use my Cpap to inflate them and spray with soapy water. Mark the leaks and seal with what you find works best. Patches on the outside just mean they've been out in the stream. Kind of like honorable scars on dogs.
  12. The Blackfoot has some great fishing over around Ovando. PM me if want to get in touch with the hardest working guide in Montana.
  13. Blue Sky Boat Works model 360 from Jackson Industries. I'm more impressed with it every time I take it out.
  14. They guy across the street doesn't put a check out for Sergio's guys every other week.
  15. Same in Texas. It's now registered. I was only fishing private waters until I got that done. Ready to get to downtown Austin for some big ones.
  16. I found a lightly used one for $2300 and got it last Tuesday. I'm impressed. 3 1/2 mph with a 30lb thrust trolling motor will get me to all my favorite spots. I can get 4mph by pedaling hard but tire pretty quickly. I'll post some pics when I get it set up.
  17. Crossbraces are thru-bolted to metal plates. Got on the facebook users page and a lot of folks like them. Guess I'll be selling my Pelican Bass Raider.
  18. Unfortunately Jack lives in North Carolina now and I'm still in Texas until Covid is over. Then we're selling and leaving The Peoples Republic of Austin and moving to Bozeman where my wife is from.
  19. Anyone here know about Blue Sky Angler 360? Looks to be a step up from my Pelican Bass Raider but I'd like to hear from someone with some first hand knowledge of them. Thanks, James
