Listen... If you are friends with me on Facebook, I'll usually work on a custom fly drawing and give it to you for your birthday. This fly encapsulates all that is right with modern tying materials mixed with classical flair. It's not so much a fly to catch fish... It's more like providing them an art gallery to look at while they swim around your fly trying to figure out what it is. You are welcome my friend.

It does have some Salvador Dali qualities.

Andreas Andersson's 'Aino'. I used Loon Hard Head clear for the head and eyes but it doesn't look great and the eyes aren't stuck on well. I'll try one with epoxy and see how it goes. Other than that, I was very happy with how the fly came out.

Cream, that's the nicest rack I've seen to date on this site. Your weekend challenge is to post a picture of that fly hanging out of a fishes mouth (caught - don't go piercing lips at the seafood counter at the supermarket)

Yeh yeh! Proportions & scale is crap, tried to curl the swissstraw wings with scissors like a ribbon on a present, but i used a sharp pair & one fell off, so i superglued it & left em! Try a eazier one next time!:-)
