Throat - Sparse bunch of black hair, applied as a beard and extending almost to the butt

Trico time...

Im trying out a tail-less snowshoe spinner by Eric Stroud. These are 3.5 mm and 5 mm bodies  (male, female) on a #20 Tiemco light wire 2457, just thread and snowshoe.

@chugbug27 great minds. Trikes here too. Either a 22 or 24 on a tmc 101. White fibbets for tails. 70 den UTC white abdomen, 16/0 black veevus thorax w/ black superfine. Wings tied Vince Marinaro spinner style. You split the collar hackle with thread. "In the Ring of The Rise" pg. 79. I'm gonna tie up some of yours they look killer.

Nice trikes. Back when I could see and walk a trout stream, I would tie two 24s on an 18 hook and them during the blizzard spinner falls we used to get.
