Thanks. I didn't have all the materials in all the colors he called for, but tried anyhow. I'll probably pick up the "right stuff" this weekend and try 'em again.

Rube Cross’s “Rainbow Special”. Sz 13.  I believe Cross was the best technical tyer to come out of the Catskills. For the most

part his flies were very lightly dressed and elegant. . Something that  I haven’t captured.

Looks good, I don't think you are far off from lightly dressed and elegant on that one.
