I dont think I would EVER jump out of a perfectly functional airplane. Its not the fall that worries me, its the sudden stop at the end of the fall

Leave the camera in AV mode. Use a higher F-stop ..f11,f16 or f22. Make sure you are shooting off something steady and make sure you have sufficient light. The higher the aperture number (fstop), the less light enters the camera. The lower the f-stop #, more light is allowed in. Assuming you have sufficient light,an f-stop setting of f11,f16 or f22 should give you better depth of field. Just remember fstop number is the aperture setting on the lens HIgh number f11 and up achieves a deeper depth of field Lower numbers like f2.8 or f4 achieves a shallower depth of field. This article explains it fairly simply https://digital-photography-school.com/understanding-depth-field-beginners/

I see a few every year in NC, down towards the coast on a NWR where I photograph. They are pretty rare in NC.

Its funny, but, that guy is asking for a broken nose. We have horses and I cant tell you how many times I've seen a horse clock someone with their face too close to that big old head. All it takes is a really small upward movement and BAM, broken jaw or nose..Ouchie!!!

I saw someone on a hunting board post something identical about a duck hunting video of his that was taken down and had his channel suspended. I'll say it....Media and Big tech are Censuring content of ANYTHING that is contrary to their beliefs.

At this moment, My personal best with the USPS is 6 weeks for a 3 day delivery promise. I totalled the mileage up and divided it by days. The package averaged 13 miles a day. It spent 2 weeks in 2 different distribution centers in the same state. They are inept!!! Both of my Grandkids Christmas presents didn't get delivered before Christmas and they were ordered the week before Thanksgiving. They do NOT care. If they charge a price for promised delivery, they should be refunding if the item doesnt make it, BUT..."F" you.....we're the post office

I completely understand Steve. Life can be overbearing sometimes, but as your quote alludes to,there is still a lot of fun stuff left to pursue. Losing a person close to you always sucks, but they wouldn't want you sitting around feeling sorry for them,or, yourself. That thought keeps me plodding along when times suck

Anyone dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome?
The Mad Duck replied to petelangevin's topic in The Fly Tying Bench
I've had both hands done. One about 18 years ago and the other 12 years ago. It takes almost no time to recover and you shouldn't lose any mobility -
Well, When the rain stops, I'm going to go train with my dog, then go shoot a couple of new guns I just acquired
