Chase Creek 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2006 Brookies, but only done up in a frypan over a fire with butter and fresh mushrooms thrown in. Don't keep them anymore, except for maybe one for a shore lunch once in a great while.

ArkieFlyGuy 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2006 OK... freshwater fish taste "fishy" but saltwater fish are good? I'm exactly the opposite... saltwater tastes fishy.... freshwater is good... Favorite? Grinnel... unless I can get a good BBQd alligator gar..... OK... for real... seriously.... Crappie... followed closely by Bluegill... Just gotta have the Louisiana Hot Sauce to make 'em really taste good...

KVRNut 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2006 Have to say ocean perch is my favorite followed closely by cod. For fresh water, I love a trout shore lunch with the trout breaded in egg and bread crumbs. Just make sure there's pan fries and onions on the menu too!
