Complex, fascinating and NOT hallucinogenic ... even my Dad, who HATED "rock-n-roll" type guitar sounds, liked listening to those albums with me. They had some “jams” and could have probably been a lot more successful if they had only sang about normal stuff. With songs like peaches, dune buggy, Bole weevil, candy, and naked and famous, (weird) is an understatement. For me, they bring back memories of junior high baseball bus rides.
