mikechell 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2016 I'll answer the way I always do. I don't tie for the sake of tying. I tie flies I need for a fishing trip. No more than 6 of any one pattern in my arsenal at any one time. I don't really have many patterns ... and those I tie frequently are fairly easy to do. So, at this time, I do not have any patterns that I hate to tie.
Moshup 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2016 Clousers, frustrating to tie in the bucktail for me at least EZ Peazzy Flats-roamer. It will come to you after you handle the bucktail a bit. Remember the base of the tail tends to have hair that is hollow and Flairs and is not so great to work with. Try not to use too much. Less is more. Leave plenty of space before the eye of the hook for your head. Saltwater materials can bulk up a head area quickly. Less is more.
