Kudu 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2016 Gentleman What is a squirrel tail streamer? Is this something specific or just a Mylar streamer with a squirrel wing? I'm interested. Thanks
Idaho RC 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2016 I had never tied a Mylar fly so I followed this. It was simple and fun, I enjoyed tying them. add147 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2016 Any type of fly is suitable with this swap as long as it incorporates mylar tubing. txdiscgolfer jjs89yj ang54 Y'all are in! LIST UPDATED

vicrider 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2016 Remember, materials can go inside the Mylar tubing as well on the outside. Or this design which is woven chenille under mylar flattened to wobble like a spoon in the water.
add147 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 vicrider is 100 percent correct! The flies can have a whole lot of mylar tubing like he has shown to make the body or just enough to made a mylar head. There are tons of ideas out there on the net and as I stated it does not matter on the type of fly, color, or any of the sort of stuff just as long as it has mylar tubing incorporated in the pattern. I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a SAFE and Happy Thanksgiving!!!
