About Me
I was born and raised in a French Canadian home in a small textile mill village of Taftville, CT and a product of the local catholic elementary school. I then attended Norwich Free Academy high school and graduated in 1970. I was then employed as a draftsman for the Electric Boat Company to help design the Trident nuclear submarines for the US Navy. After a union strike by the local Marine Draftsman Association in 1979, I got hired by Ingals Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi to work on US Navy surface ships. This assignment only lasted for a few months and then I moved to Colorado to work on spacecrafts at Martin Marietta Aerospace. I worked on spacecraft that went to the planet Venus to map the planets' surface and an astronaut backpack to maneuver in space. That lasted for about 11 years and then I got laid off from that job. During that time I became interested in fly tying and fly fishing. The recreation department there was offering free fly tying lessons and I signed up for them. I fished a lot of great rivers and stream in the Rocky Mountain west.
I then returned back to Connecticut in 1992 to work once again for Electric Boat to work on the Seawolf and Virginia Class submarines. I finally had enough of designing submarines and I retired in 2015.
I got married in 1981 and divorced in 1987. 6 years of pure hell Fortunately no kids
So that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Now you now the rest of the story.
The End!
