flytire 0 Report post Posted January 11 yes the yantic river in norwich, which is always prone to flooding, did a number in a few places and a few flooded buildings along its banks it didnt help with a dam upstream in fitchville partially collapsed Flooding traps people inside Domino’s in Norwich – NBC Connecticut no pizzas for awhile i'm nowhere near the flooded areas in norwich + my mobile home is about 2 1/2 feet above ground Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

cphubert 0 Report post Posted January 12 Trolling tube Quabbin Smelt, my variant of Tom Fawcett's pattern. pink tube, white thread, body- silver mylar piping under opal mylar piping with red hot spot and opal piping left long and frayed for tail, throat- white bucktail, wing- sparse lavender bucktail, peacock herl under feather wing (hot pink center with gray outer) silver pheasant cheeks with uv secured 3d eyes. cphubert 0 Report post Posted January 12 The Wobbler tube fly My answer to the Mooselook Wobbler that is a productive trolling tin. Tied in the 9-3 flatwing style for movement. This one is hot orange & silver, I also tie chartreuse and opal. Clear tube, orange thread, body- silver braid well coated with Sally Hanson, wing sparse bucktail support pillow under 2 hackles tied flatwing style, 2 tied upright with one more tied as a collar hackle.
