Trouser Trout 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2013 Just having some fun tying. I think this one is probably better suited for a frame, but I tied a couple of this variety and a couple of them olive body/brown wings/white hackle and figured I might as well get 'em wet to see what will take it. utyer 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2013 FishDragon, Â Since I am in Florida, I plan on using these for Redfish, Snook, Sea Trout, and Bass. I have used the Sparkle Olive for Smallies in Canada with good success. The body material is a knitting yarn called Glitz by Borocco (if I remember right.) That yarn came in several other colors, but has been discontinued, I still can find int on Ebay and other on-line yarn shops. Lots of long fibers with lots of flash, just wrap it on the hook.
