flytire 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2021 i used 3 wires. 2 yellow and 1 brown i used my rotary vise to twist them. i don't have a fancy twisting device then i attached the wires to the hook. i'm not sure how they all lined up as i wrapper the wires forward. i guess it was just dumb luck another example using 1 color of twisted wires Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Sandan 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2021 Tied a few of these soft hackle Flavs last night. Then a turkey tail nymph(like pheasant tail)cause I had a spare hook on my desk. Used Krystal flash for the rib and olive superfine for the thorax and 4 turkey tail fibers for everything else. I think it's a 20 or 22. The Flavs are 14s. I've posted the recipe before.
