Getting closer to what I was looking for

hook - Dai Riki 280 #8
thread - Veevus 8/0 tan
rib - x-small wire gold 
abdomen - Arizona Simi Seal holo gold
body hackle - dyed gold (2 Tsp Rit Golden Yellow, 1/4 Tsp Rit Camel/2 cups water) undersize by 2 
wing - calftail dyed burnt orange (2 Tsp Rit Sunshine Orange, 1/4 Tsp Rit Tan, 1/4 Tsp Rit Purple/4 cups water)  
thorax - Ice Dub golden brown 
front hackle - dyed gold

Category – Nymph

Hook – Mustad R50-94840, size 10-16

Thread – Gray or black

Tail – Coq de Leon

Ribbing – Silver wire

Body – *Heron or equivalent substitute

Wing case – Peacock ice dubbing fibers

Thorax – *Squirrel or hares ear

Coat the wing case with UV Resin

*I substituted gray goose fibers for the body and gray hares ear dubbing for the thorax

Body: Blended natural and orange deer hair to approximate "Hendrickson pink"

Thorax: tan SuperFine Dubbing

Hackle: Speckled Badger

Wing and head: Nature's Spirit short fine deer hair

I was in a weird mood today and this is what happened at the vise. I do not have good photographic equipment so excuse the sketchy photo. I call it a paraloop rainbow warrior. If the nymph by te same name works, why not an emerger?

Now there is a vise you don’t see everyday.  I think the A.K. best McKensie is pretty rare as are the accessories. Nice!

Not sure I did it justice but this is my version of an old tarpon fly from way back. The original had jungle cock where mine has grizzly tips.
