I found his site on the inet and now have all his work bookmarked again -- until the next puter crash that is! His pattern, that is a bit like Philly's, is called the YUSAKA CREASE Fly. niveker 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2020 My attempt at a Dark Spruce from last night, subbed spade feathers from a jungle cock cape for wings and hackle. Tied in the wings splayed, as shown on @flytire's website. I wrapped some lead beneath the peacock thorax for weight, causing the wings to shoot up when tied in, may need to flatten it or leave it out next time.
