September flies from the bench

Really nice Dan. From the first photo I thought you had posted in B&W but then I opened the second and saw the blue eyes. Work of art!

Here's Bergman's "Something" wet fly that I just finished. If you have the book and look at the recipe in the back, you'll find that it's not the same as what was painted on the plate. I like tying it like it is on the plate. I included a picture of the fly that's on the plate in the book too.

Regards,

Mark

5 inch foam spook. I made this fly to mimic a top water popper from regular fishing. Once I add eyes it will be complete.

Hopefully an acceptable spot for a first post.

Attempting to copy ScottP's Superflash Pheasant Tail.

Poor imitations, but it was nice to get back to the vise.

Welcome to the site, troutah. There is a forum for introducing yourself, which would be THE appropriate place for a first post. However, no one here is much for "appropriate", so this will work.

I am at work, and can't see your picture until I get home to my own network.

Anyway, welcome again, to the site.
