The brown mallard kinda blends into the hackle.

Looks fine, nicely tapered body and your eye is not crowded I would fish it

Flat Wing Gurgler

I like that fly, the more I look at it I want to add a few of that style to my boxes. Flat wings can be anything from a 9-3 style streamer, single feather, multiple feathers, thanks for the pattern.

Thanks CP. That one's about 5". I think I'll tie up a few more, but a bit shorter and with cheap Chinese saddle hackle. Let me know how you do with yours.

ROYAL WULFF
This is a fly I use quite a bit. I tie it in large sizes, 6-10, and use it for the dry fly in a dry/dropper set up.
This fly floats well with proper floatent , it tends to ride low in the water which I like for an attractor pattern.

This fly with a PT soft hackle dropper on the Firehole is my go to set up. Browns will hit this fly with reckless abandon.

Hook size 10 dry fly 2x long

tail - golden pheasant

body peacock hurl and red floss

wing calf tail

Furnace hackle.

👍  nicely done.  A 'Royal' anything is hard to beat sometimes. I keep a few of the various versions in my box.
